DistributionInhabits the waters from the Ryukyu Islands to Australia , as well as from India to the Solomon Islands .
DescriptionReaches 2 m in length. Oviparous.
Danger to humansPoisonous, but have a small mouth.
NutritionIt feeds on fish ; the diet includes fish such as eels , yellowfin Caranx ( Caranx ignobilis ) and representatives of mullet (Mullidae).
Ecology and habitatsThey live on coral reefs , in coastal vegetation and among emissions in the surf . It is kept near the coast and is often found on land.
