Content

Construction History

Enlisted in the Navy of the USSR on June 22, 1951. Laid at the factory number 190 named. A. A. Zhdanova February 11, 1952 (building number 618), launched on September 22. The ship was received by the fleet on February 11, 1953. On March 1, the Soviet naval flag was hoisted on Stephennoye, at the same time the destroyer joined the Soviet Navy [1] .

Service

Since March 1, 1953, "Stephenny" was part of the 8th Navy, and from December 24, 1955, due to the disbandment of the 8th Navy, it was transferred to the Red Banner Baltic Fleet .

From July 16 to July 24, 1954, Stepenny paid a visit to Stockholm ( Sweden ), and from August 7 to 11, 1958, to Helsinki ( Finland ).

On February 28, 1961, the destroyer was taken out of service, mothballed, and put up for sediment, however, on July 8, 1968, the ship was mothballed and re-commissioned. On March 14, 1986, the destroyer was disarmed, expelled from the USSR Navy in connection with the transfer to the OFI for dismantling and cutting for metal, and was disbanded on July 22, 1986 [1] .
