Franciscan missionaries Mary ( Latin Congregatio Franciscalium Missionariarum a Maria ) is the name of the female Catholic monastic congregation .
History
The congregation of the “Franciscan Missionary Mary” was founded in 1877 by the blessed Roman Catholic Church Elena Maria de Chappoten , when she worked in India . On January 6, 1877, the congregation was approved by Pope Pius IX .
From the very beginning of its foundation, the congregation of the “Franciscan Missionary Mary” was engaged in missionary activity in India and China . Currently, the nuns of the congregation are engaged in evangelism, charitable , pedagogical and educational activities.
From 1928 to 1948, the School at the Convention of the Sisters of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Harbin operated.
