Visigoth truth ( Latin: Lex Visigothorum, Liber Iudiciorum ) - Visigoth legal code. The first codes of laws of the Visigoths were compiled by King Eurich . According to Isidore of Seville , "the Goths began to write down their laws, which were previously known only as traditions and customs" [1] . The successors of Eurich continuously supplemented and developed this legal code, thus forming the Westgothic truth, published in 654 by King Reckeswint and included along with Salic , Burgundy , Thuringian , Bavarian and others among the first barbaric truths .
