Biography
Niyaz Nabeev was born on March 31, 1989 in Kazan. He graduated from secondary school number 84 in Kazan with in-depth study of foreign languages. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Culture of the Tatar State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University ( TSSPU ). He plays for the State Institution of Higher Education MDS & T of the Republic of Tatarstan [1] and trains at Aidar Ildarovich Khusnutdinov at the Children's and Youth Sports School No. 7 of the city of Kazan (skiing).
Sports career
At the junior level, Niyaz Nabeev was able to twice become the champion of Russia, as well as the absolute winner of the ski biathlon III Winter Games of Russian students.
In 2010, Niyaz Nabeev as part of the Russian team took part in the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver [2] . The first start of Nabiev was to take place on February 14, but the Russian double-combatant, after passing the tests, was suspended from participation in the competition for 5 days due to the high level of hemoglobin [3] . On February 16, a second analysis was carried out, which showed that the hemoglobin level in the Russian athlete returned to normal and Nabeev was allowed to participate in the competition [4] . On February 25, Nabeev took part in the competitions in ski jumping and the 10 km race . After the jump part, Niyaz took the 26th place, having a handicap in front of the leader 2:07, but the ski race at Nabeev failed. Only the 43rd came to the finish line.
In 2011, Nabeev won his first major award. At the Winter Universiade in Turkish Erzurum, Nabeev, as part of the second national team of Russia, together with Damir Khinsertdinov and Denis Isaykin, became the bronze medalist of the relay race [5] .
Nabeev took part in three world championships . The best result in Niyaz's career is 40th in the normal ski jumping and 10 km race at the 2011 Oslo World Championships .
In the season 2012/2013 Nabeev for the first time in his career was able to score points in the offset of the World Cup . On December 1, 2012, at the stage in the Finnish city of Kuusamo, the Russian triathlete took 28th place, which earned him 3 points and allowed him to take 66th place in the overall World Cup by the end of the season. At the same time, Nabeev was the only Russian who managed to score points this season. In the continental cup, Nabeev’s best achievement is 30th in the 2010/2011 season.
