The hydroelectric station was built in 1880 on the Angrap River . Over the past 130 years, the station was closed three times, due to the fact that fighting was carried out on the territory of East Prussia during the First and Second World Wars.
The modern station was designed by the Zapvodproekt Institute [1] . In 2000, two identical turbines of the Ozyorsk hydroelectric power station were launched; their total capacity is 500 kilowatts.
As of the beginning of 2013, the installed electric capacity of hydroelectric power plants is 500 kW, or 0.05% of the total installed capacity of power plants in the Kaliningrad energy system. Production in 2012 - 1.7 million kWh . [2]
