Geography

Located in the northeastern part of the archipelago, 700 meters from Rainer Island in the area of Cape Bowerman .

It has an elongated shape with a length of about 600 meters, in the central part there is a low cliff . There is no ice cover.

History

The island is named after the Russian polar explorer - Ivan Markelovich Ivanov .
