Daughter mathematician J. von Neumann from his first marriage. Bachelor of Radcliffe College (1956), Master of Arts (1959) and Ph.D. (1967) at Columbia University . She taught at the University of Pittsburgh (1962-1979, professor of economic theory since 1973). She was a member of the Presidential Council of Economic Advisers (1972-1973). Vice President of General Motors (1979-1992). He is currently a professor of business administration at the University of Michigan. Member of the Group of Thirty .
