Mackenzie Bay is an open bay off the northern shores of Canada between Cape Cay and the Mackenzie River Delta. Belongs to the Beaufort Sea . The bay has a length of 70 km and a depth of 5 to 10 m (up to 20 m at Cape Cay). From September to June it is covered with ice.

Divided between the Yukon Territory and the Northwest Territories.
To the west of the bay is Herschel Island and the mainland of the Yukon . To the east is Richards Island , the Northwest Territories .
