Biography
He graduated from the Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers in 1983.
In 1983-1988 - engineer, shift supervisor, ATB workshop of the Krasnoyarsk United Squadron. In 1988-1989, he was the chief engineer of the Civil Aviation Plant No. 67 (the city of Krasnoyarsk). In 1989-1993, he was the head of the aviation technical base at the Cheremshanka Airport ( Krasnoyarsk Territory ). In 1993-1995 - chief engineer of the Krasnoyarsk Civil Aviation Administration. In 1995-1998, he was General Director of Sibaviatrans Airlines.
One of the founders of the AiRUnion alliance is the union of five airlines: KrasAir , Domodedovo Airlines , Omskavia , Samara and Sibaviatrans . Honorary Citizen of the city of Krasnoyarsk ; Honored Transport Worker of Russia .
Head of the Department of Economics and Organization of Air Transport Production, Siberian Aerospace University (city of Krasnoyarsk).
In March 2006, he founded SkyExpress , which became the first low-cost airline in Russia.
On January 16, 2008, he was elected General Director of the holding of OJSC Air Union .
Winner of the Prize of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia for 2004.
