It is located 35 km from the Shebekino district center and 45 km from the Nezhegol railway station .
History
The first mention of the village dates back to 1640 . The name of the village according to one version comes from the river Zimovka, which connected the villages of Zimovnoye and Zimovenka. Now only the log reminds of it. Currently, there are two shops in the village, a first-aid post, a club and a primary school for 360 people, now only 20 students are studying in it.
