Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic Center for Festivals and Concert Programs ( Ukrainian: Chernigiv Regional Philharmonic Center for Festivals and Concert Programs ) - Regional Philharmonic in Chernihiv ( Ukraine ). The purpose of the center is to popularize Ukrainian and world musical art, propaganda the best works of symphonic, choral, instrumental, vocal, folk, wind and other musical genres, and conduct a wide cultural and educational work. The center annually organizes festivals, competitions and other events.

History
Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic was established in 1944 by order No. 1 of May 22, 1944 for the Philharmonic in accordance with the order of the regional branch of art . The full-time creative staff of 12 people was divided into concert teams. The first consisted of 5 people, the second - of seven. The work was performed by full-time staff of artists of creative staff, as well as by forces of non-staff employees under an employment contract and part-time artists.
Since its inception, the Philharmonic has been located on the territory of the former Yelets Monastery .
The Philharmonic received a stationary room with a hall for 612 seats in 1964 - this is the former house of the Nikolaev Diocesan Brotherhood . It was built in 1911-1912 at the corner of the intersection of Shosseinaya (now Prospect Mira) and Nikolaevskaya (now Karl Liebknecht) streets. The total volume includes the chapel erected in 1870 in honor of Alexander Nevsky.
At the end of 1919 - at the beginning of 1920, the governor’s department and military-political courses for the commanders of the Red Army were located in the house, then a club of educational staff. From 1932 until the start of World War II - the Chernihiv Regional Music and Drama Theater . The house was burned in August 1941 during a Nazi bombardment. Restored in the postwar years with a superstructure of the third floor above the former chapel. An example of non-Slavic style architecture.
At the beginning of 1964, the following groups worked in the creative staff of the Philharmonic:

- Puppeteers
In 1965, an ensemble of gypsies was created. In 1968 - chamber brigade. In 1970-1971, from the Philharmonic with tours around the USSR, VIA Desna worked under the direction of V. Coton. In 1973, the children's group “Merry Hour” was created at the Philharmonic.
Throughout the entire existence of the Philharmonic, the structure of the creative staff was constantly changing, but the following areas of activity remained unchanged:

Reorganization
In 2000, the regional philharmonic society was reorganized into the regional philharmonic center of festivals and concert programs. It was created on the basis of the decision of the Chernihiv regional council at the 30th session of the 23rd convocation of October 26, 2000, by order of the head of the Chernihiv regional state administration of November 15, 2000 No. 691, and by order of the culture department of the Chernihiv regional state administration of November 28, 2000 No. 82-by reorganization and merger:
