Geography

The village is located on the banks of the Kvanka creek, a tributary of the Vyssa River. 15 km from the village of Przemysl , 5.5 km from the village of Vorotynsk , 20 km from the city of Kaluga . Near the highway M-3 "Ukraine - Peremyshl" (4.24 km), from which there is a rubble branch into the village.

In the village 2 ponds, apple orchards, household plots of local residents. Plowed land is silky. Large forests are absent. Not far from the village there is a spring, under the local name "Gremyachy Well", the water in which is rich in minerals. The spring is consecrated, and local residents arrange bathing there for baptism .

The climate is temperate continental with distinct seasons of the year. The coldest month of the year is January , with air temperatures of –8.9 ° —10 °. July is the warmest month of the year.

By the amount of precipitation belongs to the zone of sufficient moisture. Average for the year 654 mm; including 441 mm for the warm period of the year, 213 mm for the cold period of the year. History

At various times, the owners of the village of Borischevo were: Until 1711, the Chelyuskins ( Chelyuskins ) owned the village. In 1782, the village was jointly owned by Pyotr Alexandrovich Chelyuskin, Varvara Zyuzina Alekseevna, the nobles Polonsky and Kazarinov. Until 1842, Alexey Vasilyevich Kulikov owned a part of the village, which he had bought from Captain Vasilyev Grigori Vasilyevich. In 1850, parts of the village were in the possession of the titular counselor Marya Kuzminichna Shchegoleva, collegiate adviser Nikolai Ivanovich Khlyustin, the Kaluga bourgeoisie Marya Agafonovna Fedosova, the heirs of sub-lieutenant Alexander Petrovich Chelyuskin, the freed peasants G. In the 1980s, the cube was transferred to the Peremyshl Museum of Local Lore. Until now, on the site of the estate, lost in the Civil , grows a garden. Also, the past was reflected in the name of the household pond - Knyazhy Pond. The church was closed during the years of struggle with priestly obscurantism. In it was a state-owned warehouse, which burned down during a fire.

Since 1863, the village of Borishchevo was part of the Zaborov parish of Peremyshl district [3] . The village had a local school and the Church of St. Nicholas.

In 1918, the Boryshevsky Village Council was formed, which included the following settlements: Borishchevo, Sadki , Orlya , Abalduevka , Molochenki , Bykovo , Glagazino , Povetkino , Zarya . In 1929 the collective farm “Victory” was formed in the village, in 1930 the collective farm collapsed, but in the next it was restored. Before the liquidation of the volosts, the village was part of the Vorotyn volost.

September 30, 1954 was organized by the state farm "Boryshevsky" on the basis of the collective farm "Victory". On October 10, Department No. 1 was created - “Central” in the village of Borishchevo with the inclusion of Bykovo and Molochanka villages. By 1959, the state farm was subordinate to the Kaluga regional management of state farms. The first director was appointed chief agronomist of the Peremyshlsky district Mikhail Vasilyevich Dokuchaev.

In 1960, the state farm was transferred to the Kaluga State Experimental Station and renamed Borishchevskoye experimental production facility. In 1965, the farm was transferred to the Kaluga trust "Gardening", converted ten years later to the trust "Plodoprom". In 1978, the state farm was under the leadership of the regional association "Kalugasortsemprom". In December 1982, the state farm was incorporated into the Peremyshl RAPO (district agro-industrial association).

Since September 2014, in order to optimize educational institutions, the main secondary school in Borischevo was closed, and children on the school bus were taken to Peremyshl secondary school [4] . The village has a village club, post office, medical center, there are 2 shops. In October 2013, a street library was installed near the store [5] .
