Freddy Caden (born 1963) is an Ecuadorian opera and symphony conductor living in Russia . From 2000 to 2006 he worked at the Opera House of the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky. He is the founder and chief conductor of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra under the Union of Moscow Composers.

Study
Freddie Caden began his musical education at the National Conservatory in Quito ( Ecuador ).
In 1984, he received a scholarship to continue his studies at the Music College at the Moscow Conservatory . He studied in the class of choral conducting of L. Pavlov .
In 1988 he entered the Moscow Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky to the faculty of choral conducting (class of prof. B.I. Kulikov) and opera-symphonic conducting (class of prof. L.V. Nikolaev and prof. V.V. Kataev ) [1] .
Participated in master classes prof. Helmut Rilling , Head of the International Bach Academy in Stuttgart [2] . He performed with the Bach-Collegium orchestra and the Gachinger Kantorei choir in Moscow, Germany and Spain .
In 1994, he graduated with honors from the Moscow Conservatory.
Career
Freddie Kadena worked with the orchestra of the opera studio of the Moscow Conservatory, with the orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, with the chapel named after A. Yurlova, as well as with the Aragon Symphony Orchestra in Spain. Successfully performs in the best concert halls in Moscow , tours throughout Russia, Europe and South America .
He closely collaborates with famous Russian artists such as Irina Arkhipova , Vladislav Piavko, Vladimir Krainev , Anastasia Chebotareva, Graf Murzha, Alexei Kozlov, Marina Tarasova, Alexei Bruni, Dmitry Razer, Roman Roman Mints , Yulia Korpacheva, Yana Ivanilova and others. She also collaborates with the teachers of the Moscow Conservatory Marina Yashvili , Zoria Shikhmurzaeva, Alexander Bakhchiev , Elena Sorokina , Maria Tchaikovsky, Valery Popov .
Even before starting work at the Moscow Conservatory, he worked with singers and opera directors (Prof. Boris Persiyanov and Alexander Borodovsky). The results of this collaboration were the performances “Coffee Cantata”, “Peasant Cantata”, “Don Juan”, “Traviata”, “Tsar's Bride” , "The Bear", as well as the performance of numerous cantatas, motets, oratorios and other vocal works.
Since 1994, Freddie Kadena annually participates in the Moscow Autumn international festival of contemporary music, performing world premieres of numerous works by composers from Russia, Japan , Europe , the USA and Latin America .
In 1995, on his initiative, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra [3] was created under the Union of Moscow Composers, the artistic director and chief conductor of which he is to this day. With this band, Freddie Kadena gives concerts in Moscow and toured Russia and abroad.
From 1992 to 2000 he held master classes in conducting in Aragon ( Spain ).
From 2000 to 2006 he worked at the Opera House of the Moscow Conservatory as a conductor, teacher and musical director of opera performances.
From 2005 to 2009, he worked as a conductor at the Moscow Theater of Satire [4] in the performances: "Andryusha", "We Still Are Funny", "Krechinsky's Wedding", "Left-Handed", "Freedom for Love".
He performed with concerts with the leading symphony orchestras of Ecuador .
He takes part in prestigious international forums, such as the “Dialogue of Civilizations” [5] on the island of Rhodes ( Greece , 2007). He is a representative of the Spanish publishing house of Contemporary Music "Periferia Sheet Music" [6] in the Russian Federation.
Criticism and commentary
.. And in his student performances, and after graduating from the conservatory, he brilliantly emphasized his wonderful innate qualities: true musicality and respectful, but demanding relationships with musicians during rehearsals ... [7]
Rewards
In November 2008, the Union of Moscow Composers awarded Freddie Kaden a gold medal for his active participation in the prestigious international contemporary music festival Moscow Autumn. Such outstanding Russian musicians as Gennady Rozhdestvensky , Valery Polyansky , Vladimir Ponkin and Vladimir Fedoseev have previously been awarded this honor.
Filmography
The Amat Deus film, released in Italy in 2009 by the Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus Foundation (presented October 9, 2009 at the Teatro Duse in Bologna), uses the recording of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra conducted by Freddy Caden. Sounds concert number 24 for the piano and orchestra of Mozart , soloist - Vladimir Krainev. This charity project was supported by RAI .
