Kverini Island is an island of the Franz Josef Land archipelago. The highest point of the island is 125 meters. Administratively refers to the Primorsky district of the Arkhangelsk region of Russia .

Location
Located in the northern part of the archipelago, off the coast of Jackson Island in the waters of Canyon Bay .
Description
It has an uneven oval shape with a length of about 1.5 kilometers and a width of about 900 meters. It is free of ice, in the central part there is a steep rock 125 meters high, along the coast - rocky placers.
Named in honor of the Italian explorer Francesco Querini ( Italian: Francesco Querini ), who died in the polar expedition of 1900 .
