Geography
The city of Karenion is located in the western part of Belgium, near its border with France , in the industrial area of Borinage . It is considered a suburb of Mons . Administratively included in the Mons district of the Hainaut province of the Walloon region. The area of the city is 11.08 km². The population is 18.789 people (as of 2008 ). The population density is 1.696 people / km².
