History

The program was broadcast from 1979 to 1998, not only in Leningrad, but also in other Soviet / Russian cities, as well as in Poland and Czechoslovakia . These were television productions of fairy tales of the peoples of the world.

The directors (they were also mainly scriptwriters) of the tales were Gleb Selyanin, Vladimir Latyshev, Anatoly Slyassky, Valery Obogrelov , Mikhail Falkin , Natalya Serebryakova and others. The editors of the programs were Lilia Honevna Sego, Tatyana Evgenievna Orlova, Tamara Mikhailovna Yakovleva.

Tales in the transmission of letters from small viewers with a request to show this or that fairy tale flew out of the magic casket. The soldiers, Ivan Varezhkin (actor Sergei Parshin ), took turns in turn, whose appearance was accompanied by the song of soldier Ivan Varezhkin, and Petrushka appeared with the song “Our Petrushka has a bells on the top of his head and a million fairy tales” ( Honored Artist of the RSFSR Vladimir Letenkov and Chert ( Honored Artist of the RSFSR Evgeny Tilicheev , as well as actor and composer Roman Ryazantsev .

In 1992, the Russian state television and radio company St. Petersburg was founded, later renamed to Petersburg 5 Channel , broadcasting in all major cities in the European part of Russia.

In the early 1990s, productions of director Valery Obogrelov were released . Then came several productions from the series “Tales of the World”. In mid-1998, the program was closed.

In 2000, several productions with the host Ivan Varezhkin appeared on the Kultura television channel. But the rating of the program dropped significantly and it was decided to close it. The last broadcast was released in October 2000.
