The Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Lithuania ( Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Lithuania ; lit. Lietuvos Respublikos baudžiamojo proceso kodeksas , LR BPK ) is the main source of criminal procedure law of the Republic of Lithuania, which establishes and regulates the criminal procedure in Lithuania . This is a codified legal act , which is the main source regulating the procedure for bringing to criminal responsibility in Lithuania.
The current Criminal Procedure Code was adopted by the Lithuanian Seimas on March 14, 2002 . Entered into force on May 5, 2003 .
