Ridge (island, Lake Ladoga)

Ridge ( Fin. Selkämustasaari - " ridge black island " [1] ) is a small island in Lake Ladoga. Belongs to the group of western Ladoga skerries . It belongs to the Priozersky district of the Leningrad region , Russia .

Stretched from northwest to southeast. It is 0.9 km long and 0.2 km wide.

Located in the Gulf of Lehmalahti , south of the island of Montossari . The island is elevated, up to 34 m high, the southern coast is rocky. Ridge Island is tall and wooded. The southern coast is steep and devoid of vegetation. Around the island there are many pitfalls and surface stones [2] .
