Geographical position
The settlement selection is located on the right bank of the river Mzha , on the opposite bank are the village Utkovka and the city of Merefa . Motorways M-18 ( E 105 ), T-2102 and T-2107 pass through the village. Nearby are two railway lines, station Breeding .
History
- The territory of the village has been inhabited since ancient times. During the construction of the Moscow-Simferopol highway, a Neolithic site (IV millennium BC), a settlement and a burial ground of the Late Bronze Age were discovered.
- 1918 - an agricultural commune with residential buildings and household outbuildings is built on the site of the future Breeding Settlement.
- 1930 - the official date of foundation as a village for employees of the agricultural complex and agricultural laboratory.
- 1959 - a stadium is built, a football club with youth groups is organized.
- 1974 - the Institute of Vegetable and Melon-Growing was transferred to the village of Breeding from Kharkov.
- 1982 - the House of Culture was built.
In July 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision on the privatization of an experimental farm [1] .
