The 12th National Football Championship of Azerbaijan was held in 2003 - 2004 with the participation of 15 clubs. Baku's Neftchi became the champion for the 4th time.

Championship Details

  • The championship started on May 17, 2003 and ended on May 5, 2004 .
  • Due to the ongoing disqualification by the UEFA, the teams could not participate in the Europa League for the season.
  • Umid (Baku) withdrew from the championship due to financial difficulties. The results of 8 matches played by him were canceled.
  • Lokomotiv ( Imishli ) withdrew from the championship due to financial difficulties in the second round. In all the remaining matches he was counted technical defeats.
