Lupanshui ( Chinese: 六盘水 , pinyin : Liùpánshuǐ ) is an urban district in Guizhou Province of China . The name Lupanshui is formed from the first hieroglyphs of the names of the largest of its administrative units: Liuzhi, Panxian and Shuicheng.
