History

The lands of the village at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries belonged to the large landowners Neidgart . Here was an estate with residential and household buildings. The manor house was located near the old cutting area Gypsy Porub . From the second half of the 19th century until the beginning of the 20th centuries, a mine operated near the village, where raw materials were extracted for the iron smelter, which was located not far from the Vichkinza shore. The plant belonged to the Balykov landowner P.P. Mendelev. The depth of the primitive mines (pipes) that functioned in the mine was 4-12 sazhens . Production amounted to 10 thousand pounds per year. Nearby were brown coal reserves . Before the First World War, Neidgart sold land to Naryshkin settlers.

In 1918, the commune was formed. In 1920, the commune became part of the Satis state farm . At first, the office of the state farm was located here, which was then transferred to the village of Polevoy , and later to Satis .

Three residents of Tsyganovka did not return from the fronts of World War II.

In 1961, an auxiliary boarding school for children with health defects was transferred to Tsyganovka from Diveevo . The teachers lived in Diveevo, Satis, as well as in Tsyganovka itself. In 1988, the school was relocated back to Diveevo.

By 1992, there were 33 households and 73 residents in the village, of which 26 were able-bodied. 8 houses were populated seasonally. There were running water and bottled gas. As of January 1, 1995, there were 29 houses and 60 residents in the village.

Modernity

Currently, the village is promising. This is due primarily to its transport situation, proximity to Sarov, Diveevo, as well as the holy sources of Seraphim of Sarov. In November 1995, a bazaar was established at the village with two trading days - Saturday and Sunday, which, at present, is a branch of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Fair. In the village there are a car wash, a large shopping center and a catering point, there is a gas station.
