Biography
Revolutionary Activities
He was a convinced member of the Bolshevik party, which he joined at the age of 14. He conducted underground party work in the Far East among the local and Russian population, and was repeatedly arrested for this. After the February Revolution of 1917, he was a member of the Council of Deputies of the Koryak District. Since March 1917 - Chairman of the Koryak Committee of the Bolsheviks.
In the days of the Great October Socialist Revolution , in November 1917, he was the commissar of the Petrograd Military Revolutionary Committee (for city government). Together with F.E. Dzerzhinsky he led the organization of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission (VChK) . In early March 1918, he organized the First Lugansk Socialist Detachment, which defended the city of Kharkov from German-Austrian troops.
Civil War
During the Civil War - commander of the Koryak group of Soviet troops in the Far East, deputy commander and member of the Military Council of the Far Eastern Front. One of the organizers and member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Far Eastern Republic.
First Chairman of the District Executive Board of SDT
- 1923-1926 - Secretary of the Karaginsky Village Council
- 1926-1931 - Chairman of the Karaginsky Village Council
- 1931-1932 - Instructor, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Karaginsky District Council (Kamchatka Region).
After the formation of the Koryak National District on December 10, 1930, he was elected the first chairman of the executive committee of the district Council of Workers' Deputies.
World War II
During the Great Patriotic War he was a member of the State Defense Committee, representative of the Headquarters for the formation of troops (September 1941 - February 1942 ) in the Far East.
Post-war activities
He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 1st-3rd convocations. He was also a deputy of the Khabarovsk Territory, Kamchatka Regional and Koryak District Councils of Workers' Deputies.
