Launch History
The first flight of the CZ-2E took place on July 16, 1990 . A total of 7 launches were carried out. The first unsuccessful launch was on the launch of the Optus B2 satellite on December 21, 1992 . The cause of the accident was the ignition of the fairing of the instrument compartment 45 seconds after takeoff. On January 25, 1995, when Apstar 2 was launched, another emergency start occurred for the same reason. As a result of the explosion of the launch vehicle and the fall of its debris on nearby houses, a family of 6 people died. [1] At the end of the same government, they abandoned the operation of this model in favor of a more modern analogue.
