Biography

I. I. Rubis was a specialist in the theory of the ship, pitching and handling, ship architecture. From 1956 to 1999 he worked in the Northern Design Bureau . He consistently held the posts of designer, head of sector, head of department, deputy chief designer (1973), chief designer (1974); took part in the design, construction and testing of ships of projects 1134 and 1134-A ; led the creation of destroyers of projects 956 and 956E, was engaged in the design of a promising new-class destroyer class ship. In 1988, I. I. Rubis was awarded the Lenin Prize [1] .
