Career
Thanks to a successful performance at the 2009 World Cup, another Kazakhstani single player - Denis Ten , who won two trips for the country in men's individual skating at the Vancouver Olympics , joined the national team for the Games [3] . At the Olympics, he took 26th place in the short program and was not selected for an arbitrary performance. At the 2014 Olympics was 22nd.
Twice participated (not quite with good results) in the Universiades 2013 and 2015 . After 2014, the results declined; which is confirmed by the championship of four continents .
Many experts suspected that the Kazakh skater would end an active sports career. However, in mid-November 2016, he began the pre-Olympic season at the Warsaw Cup , where he closed a dozen. At the end of November, he performed at the Tallinn Trophy , where he finished in seventh place. In December, he performed in Budapest at the Santa Claus tournament, where he finished in fourth place. In early February 2017, a Kazakh single played in his hometown at the Winter Universiade , he did not perform very well at competitions and took place in the second ten of the tournament table. At the same time, he improved all his athletic achievements. Three weeks later, a Kazakh athlete took part in Sapporo at the VIII Asian Winter Games , where he closed a dozen of the best.
The Kazakh skater began the Olympic season early in early August in Hong Kong, he took part in the Asian Trophy , where he closed the top six men. In mid-November, he played in Warsaw at the City Cup , where he finished in the top ten. Two months later, at the continental championship in Taipei , he failed, he was able to finish only in the third ten.
