In 1925, the club was given the name Skanderbeg in honor of the national hero of Albania Skanderbeg . By this time, football had become popular among the townspeople who used every free field for a football game. On this basis, many urban areas have tried to create their own small teams. Zhgaba Society was created in 1926 , and a year later yard teams appeared: Leka i Madh , Pirro , Brekverdhit , Zjarri , Tigri and Diamanti . [4] Thanks to the successful work of the club’s management, in particular, the efforts of Czech specialist and club president Agim Zeko, the team defended the championship title the next season , winning two final rounds. [5] Coaches and Aleko Pilika, who worked with the first team and the youth team, also played an important role in the club’s history. [one]
