Large river in the central part of Morocco . The source of the river is located on the southern slope of Jebel Taurit in the High Atlas Mountains .
The length of the river is 270 km. It is fed by melting snow in the mountains and rains. Several dams have been built on the rivers. River water is used for irrigation . It falls into the Atlantic Ocean .
