History

It was founded in the 1920s by immigrants from the neighboring villages of Alamasovo and Naryshkino (located 8 and 14 km to the west in the Voznesensky district, respectively).

Traditionally, workers of the Vperyod state farm (center in Satis village) lived in the village. A quarry is located near the village where dolomite flour and quarry stone were actively mined (currently officially closed).

According to 1978 data, the Newbuilding village was characterized as unpromising, there were 24 households and 43 residents. Water was supplied from wells and springs; there were no social welfare institutions. In 1992, there were 7 households and 16 residents in the village, of which 7 were of working age. As of January 1, 1995, there were 6 households and 12 residents in the village.

Modernity

Currently, the village not only remains residential, but has also been developed due to its proximity to the holy sources. Kazan spring is located half a kilometer away, and 1.2 km away is the source of St. Seraphim of Sarov .

In the village there is a monastery of the Diveevo monastery . In 2012, a house church was consecrated in honor of Seraphim of Sarov. [2]
