Trails - the second studio, double album of the Pelageya group, first released on the Internet on December 10, 2009, and then in March 2010 on physical media; recorded in 2009 in the studio on Taganka, the publisher is the Concern Soyuz Group . In addition to folk, the album first presents the author's song material of the band members.

About the album
The album contains twelve original compositions composed by Pavel Deshura and Svetlana Khanova with the participation of Andrei Starkov, as well as nine processed folk songs. All material was recorded during 2009 in the studio on Taganka ( Moscow ). In recorded used electric, bass and acoustic guitar , drums and button accordion . There are also ethnic instruments: mandolin , ocarina , Khakass tambourine , Armenian shepherd’s pipe, jumbush [1] .
The album was scheduled for release in April 2009 [2] , but failed to meet deadlines [3] . The single “Trails” was originally released, which included four compositions: “Oh, but not evening,” “Bosanova,” “Darling,” “Mother” [4] . Then, on December 10, 2009, the Internet release of the double album took place on the group’s official website [5] , and in March 2010 a disc under the music label “SOYUZ Studio” was received in stores.
Songs
The composition “Gayu-gayu” was created on the basis of the original song “Oh, the quack of the gray witch” [6] from the repertoire of the Smolensk folklore ensemble “Living Water” [7] .

In his review, music critic Guru Ken set the album to 8.5 out of 10 and noted that “Pelagia, a singer from God, creates a delicate hand-made canvas of the highest artistic quality, containing 5 minutes of sounding epic songs, divinely beautiful vocals, thoughts about fate and repentance. " The reviewer also indicated that the album was influenced by Britpop , Inna Zhelannaya , as well as a very successful synthesis of folk motifs with modern rock sound [1] .
On the site of the music portal Gogol.ru, the album was rated 5 out of 5, which, according to the reviewer, is full of “a variety of styles in complex compositions, incredible experiments with sound, magnificent, finished compositions, a fresh synthesis of rich timbres of electric guitars and button accordion”. It is also noted that “music permeated with guitar effects resembles the manner of performing the legend of art rock - Pink Floyd . And in combination with the magical vocals of Pelagia, these traditions acquire incredible beauty ”, [3] .
The Kommersant newspaper wrote about the album that “the singer [Pelageya] can tastefully change masks so drifting, drifting from the manner of Inna Zhelannaya to the group“ Mill ”, from Valeria to Valentina Ponomareva” [8] .
