Geographical position
The village of Pavlenki was located on the banks of the small river Zhikhorets , upstream the village of Gorbani adjoined, downstream at a distance of 1 km the village of Fedortsy was located. The village adjoined the former border of the city of Kharkov and was sandwiched between the villages of Herzen and Frunze .
