Biography
- O.A. Osipova was born in the family of a physician, subsequently a famous Soviet surgeon, Academician of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences Andrei Grigorievich Savinykh [1] .
- 1946 - entered the faculty of foreign languages of the Tomsk State Pedagogical Institute (TGPI), which she graduated in 1949 [1] [2] .
- 1956 - graduated from the graduate school at TGPI [2] .
- 1949-1988 - teacher [1] , associate professor [2] ;
- July 3, 1959 - Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Languages;
- On December 30, 1959, in the Council of Tomsk State University , she successfully defended her thesis on the topic “Grammatical ways of expressing the concept of the future in modern English” [1] ;
- October 19, 1981 - September 6, 1993 - Head of the English Language Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages;
- October 20, 1987 - the specialized council of the Institute of Linguistics of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic “Reflection of the category of animation / inanimateness in the declension of ancient German nouns” [1] ;
- 1988 - awarded the degree of Doctor of Philology [1] ;
- 1988–1994 - Head of the Department of English Philology [2] ;
- 1990 - awarded the title of professor [1] ;
- 1993 - elected a corresponding member of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education [1] ;
- January 1994 [2] - September 1998 - Professor of the Department of English Philology;
- September 1998 - September 2000 - Head of the Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication [1] ;
- 2004 - Professor of the Department of Languages of the Peoples of Siberia .

- Germanistika , typology and structure of paleoasian languages , methods of teaching foreign languages.
- Specialist in the languages of the peoples of Siberia - Ket , Selkup , Khanty .
- He is the author of more than 150 scientific publications on the problems of the future tense in modern English , expressions of the category of animation / inanimate in ancient German and Indo-European languages.
- Lecture courses taught at different times: history of the English language, general linguistics , comparative typology of the English and Russian languages. Some of these courses were taught by O. A. Osipova in English.

In 1992, the publishing house " International Biographical Center " was recognized as "Woman of the Year" for scientific research and discoveries in the field of ancient Germanic languages. In 2005, Olga Andreevna was elected “Person of the Year by the TSPU” [4] .
In 2002, an international conference "Comparative-historical and typological studies of language and cultures: problems and prospects" was held in Tomsk, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of O. Osipova.
