  • O.A. Osipova was born in the family of a physician, subsequently a famous Soviet surgeon, Academician of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences Andrei Grigorievich Savinykh [1] .
  • 1946 - entered the faculty of foreign languages ​​of the Tomsk State Pedagogical Institute (TGPI), which she graduated in 1949 [1] [2] .
  • 1956 - graduated from the graduate school at TGPI [2] .
  • 1949-1988 - teacher [1] , associate professor [2] ;
  • July 3, 1959 - Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Languages;
  • On December 30, 1959, in the Council of Tomsk State University , she successfully defended her thesis on the topic “Grammatical ways of expressing the concept of the future in modern English” [1] ;
  • October 19, 1981 - September 6, 1993 - Head of the English Language Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages;
  • October 20, 1987 - the specialized council of the Institute of Linguistics of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic “Reflection of the category of animation / inanimateness in the declension of ancient German nouns” [1] ;

In 2002, an international conference "Comparative-historical and typological studies of language and cultures: problems and prospects" was held in Tomsk, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of O. Osipova.
