Description
Beetle from 8 to 16 mm long.
Distribution
It is found in Europe , the Caucasus , northern Iran , Turkey and Algeria .
Ecology and habitats
The life cycle lasts two to three years. Flight time is from May to August. Feed plants - spruce ( Picea ), pine ( Pinus ) and fir ( Abies ).
