Biography
She lived in the Leningrad blockade for the first year until July 1942 , when she and her family were evacuated to the “mainland” [1] [2] . Memories of the first year of the siege of Leningrad , illustrated by the author’s authentic children's drawings made in 1941–1942, were published in the brochure “Memory of the Blockade” [3] .
After the war in 1956, she graduated from the department of soil science at Leningrad University , with a red diploma and experience in creating wall newspapers, skits and small poetic and graphic forms. According to the distribution, she was left at the department, but for two years she worked at the design and ameliorative institute, alternating between bog and cameral work. In 1958 she returned to the department and since then has not left it. She worked for six years as a senior laboratory assistant with the functions of a teacher, seven years as an assistant , more than twenty years as an assistant professor. Since 1992, she worked part time job. I gave the last lecture on April 30, 2006, before leaving for a well-deserved rest ( pension ).
She was awarded in 1968 the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences and the academic title of associate professor since 1972 . Author of over 150 scientific publications. The author of the famous textbook "Soil Physics (practical guide)" 1983 , co-author and editor of a series of manuals on field soil science, soil physics, chemical soil analysis (1980-2002). Headed the "St. Petersburg" part of the team of authors in preparing a fundamental edition, Theory and Practice of Chemical Analysis of Soils (2006), jointly with soil scientists of Moscow State University . Almost half a century in the collective of the department made it possible to create many so-called “Danish” poems for the birthdays of colleagues, dissertations defenses, and poetry scripts for the cathedral holidays. The applied nature of these poems does not detract from their literary merits.
The main object of scientific research was the forest-steppe oak forest , reserved for Peter I, and for many years it defined the themes of the poems (“The history of the Forest Vorskla reserve from Peter I to Ipatov”, 1959 ), poems and texts of the songs dedicated to colleagues - “Vorskla residents”. ".
In 1985, she moved to a permanent place of residence from Leningrad to the city of Sestroretsk, where the object of study was another Petrovskaya oak forest, a monument to the KGIOP PKiO Sestroretsk “Dubki” - the former residence of Peter I in Sestroretsk. Olga Grigorievna studied the natural complexes of the Dubkov and the history of the palace and park ensemble. Numerous recommendations were implemented when working and preserving the flora and fauna of the park. Based on the research , the book “From Peter to the Present Day” was published, in 2004 , historical and natural history research. Thanks to this, the people began to call Olga Grigorievna the “Dubynas” “beregina”. A great contribution was made to writing books on the history of the city of Sestroretsk in 2006–2009 (4 volumes), the cycle of poems “My Sestroretsk”. According to the memoirs of the blockade, the book “From the Life of a Blockade Girl” was written.
The poetic gift was reflected in the work of the club "Lukomorye", writing several books of poems [4] . Engaged in translation of poems from the German language for the folklore ensemble. Participant of the German choir "Hope" in Sestroretsk [5] . Author of original miniatures on sea pebbles, becoming a student of folk art festivals, including international ones. A huge number of miniatures on pebbles sold around the world .
Buried in the city cemetery in Sestroretsk.
