History

The chassis was designed by Brazilian designer Richard Divila for the FIRST team and was built to participate in the 1989 World Cup, but could not pass the mandatory crash test and did not participate in races.

The F189 chassis was later bought by Ernesto Vita for his own Life team. The minimally modified chassis took part in the 1990 season , not even passing the pre-qualification in any of the grand prix and, at best, losing 15-20 seconds to the rivals in the circle. First, the W12 engines of their own design were installed on the car. In the last two races, Judd EV V8 engines were used [1] .
