Service at Vasily III
Like his father, he served the Grand Duke of Moscow Vasily III . It was first mentioned in the annals in 1512 , when, together with other princes, he participated in the reflection of the Tatars, led by the Shirin princes , on Kozelsk .
His subsequent service:
- 1520 - 1521 - head in the troops on the Ugra
- 1527 - the first governor in Tula with his younger brother Roman
- 1528 - granted to the boyar
- 1529 - Governor of Tula
- 1531 - in January, when he received information about the movement of the Crimean Tatars under the command of Sahib Gerai, he brought a regiment of the right hand near Kozelsk as part of a large army, repelled the Tatars from Odoev in the summer, and sent him to Senkin ford on the Oka
