Career
Martin Tzibak began his professional career in the home club "HK 32 Liptovsky Mikulas". His career overseas for Martin began in 1998 , when he joined the WHL Club Medin-Hat Tigers. In the same year, Tzibak was selected under the general number 252 in the 9th round of the NHL draft pick by the Tampa Bay Lightning Club [1] . In total, for the 2 seasons conducted (1998/99, 1999/00) at Medicine Hut, Martin scored 92 (37 +55) points in 114 matches.
The 2000/01 season began in the Tampa farm club, the Detroit Vipers. (In the 1994–1998 seasons, the club had independent status, in the 1998/99 season, it was the farm club Ottawa Senators , and in the 1999–2001 season, Tampa Bay.) In 79 matches, Tzibak scored 38 (10 + 28) points .
He made his debut in Lightning the following season, but after spending only half of the season, scoring 1 goal in 26 games and making 5 assists, Martin moved to the AHL club " Springfield Falcons ".
On July 31, 2003, he was destined to return to Tampa Bay Lightning, spending half a season in Springfield and scoring 34 points in 114 matches. That season, Tampa signed contracts with four strikers, including 23-year-old Martin Tzibak, who received a one-year contract for $ 500,000.
The 2003/04 season became the most successful in Martin's career - he won the Stanley Cup . In 63 matches played, he scored 2 goals and made 7 assists. In the final playoff series, Lightning met Calgary Flames . In the first period of the fifth match, Tsibak gave an assist to his namesake - San Louis and he equalized (1: 1). Despite the fact that the match was lost with a score of 2: 3, on June 7, 2004, Tampa won the Stanley Cup for the first time in its history, and Martin became the 3rd Slovak player to win the final after Stanley Mikita in 1961 with “ Chicago Blackhawks and Yuri Bichek in 2003 with the New Jersey Devils . The final match against Calgary ended with a score of 2: 1 in favor of Tampa, and the whole series with a score of 4: 3.
In the same season (2003/04), Martin played one match for the AHL Hershee Beers team.
After the lockout ( 2005/06 ), Tsibak played his last season in North America, all in the same Tampa Bay Lightning, where he steadily went to the court and scored 2 goals in 65 games and made 6 assists.
Then Martin moved to Sweden , to the Froelund club. Having played the season there, he moved to Södertälle for two seasons, and in 2009 he signed a contract with Spartak Moscow [2] .
The 2010/11 season Zibak began inactively, received a little playing time in Spartak and on September 24, 2010 moved to Cherepovets Severstal [3] , which for the rest of the season scored 13 (10 + 3) points in 47 matches played. On May 17, 2011, Martin signed a one-year contract with Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik [4] .
International
As part of the Slovak national team, Martin Tsybak took part in the World Youth Championships of 1999 and 2000, the first of which he, along with the team, won the bronze medal. Martin was also a national team player at the 2004 World Cup, the 2010 Olympics and the 2006 and 2011 World Championships.

Interesting Facts
- Playing for Tampa Bay Lightning , Martin got the nickname “Cibby” (“Cibby”). The moments when he went out on the ice were called “Zibby Time”;
