Content
Geography
The village is located in the upper reaches of one of the left tributaries of the Aksay River, 27 km south-west of the regional center - Nozhai-Yurt and 83 km southeast of the city of Grozny .
The nearest settlements: in the north - the village of Maly Shuani , in the northeast - the village of Shuani , in the east - the village of Gordali , in the southeast - the village of Tsentaroy , in the southwest - the villages of Upper Kurchali and Srednye Kurchali , in the west - the villages of Sherdy -Mokhk and Gezinchu and in the north-west - the village of Khashki-Mokhk [4] .
History
According to the local administration, the village was founded in 1480 [5] .
In 1944, after the deportation of Chechens and Ingush and the abolition of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the village of Bas-Gordali was renamed Araderich [6] and settled by immigrants from neighboring Dagestan [7] .
After the restoration of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , in 1958, the village was returned to its former name - Bas-Gordali.
