Thumbelina is a feature film of 2007 based on the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Andersen . This is the last film of Leonid Nechaev and his only post-Soviet film, the script of which was written by Inna Vetkina (for her, he also became the last work). Despite the fact that the film received many prizes at various film festivals, it did not have the same success as previous works by Nechaev.

Story
Thumbelina - a little girl who does not remember who she is. The only thing she has is a magical voice and a beautiful flower. Thumbelina has to go through many adventures. She will fall into the house of the Toad, will winter in the hole of the greedy Mouse, and will face the queen of beetles. The girl has real friends - little Zhabik and good-natured Mole.
