Design Description
The traumatic version of PSM-R is made of the same materials as the combat version. The bolt, frame and other details are made of gunmetal steel, the handgrip on the handle and the magazine cover with a modified shape for a better grip are made of plastic [2] .
Trigger trigger, double action. The fuse lever is located on the left side of the bolt next to the trigger. When setting the weapon on the fuse, the trigger is automatically released from the combat cock. The fuse itself is positioned so that the movement of the thumb when it is turned off could simultaneously cock the trigger.
There is a shutter lag in the PSM-R design, but there is no lever to turn it off (this is done to reduce the number of parts protruding from the weapon). To remove the shutter from the shutter lag, you need to remove the empty magazine and, slightly pulling the open shutter back, release it.
Unlike the Russian modification IZH-78-9T , the Ukrainian PSM-R has a smooth barrel without any protrusions in the barrel channel.
