It is the administrative center of the Manchenkovsky village council, which, in addition, includes the villages of Orekhovo , Gurino , Mishenka , Nesterenka and the villages of Barchany , Sanzhary , Spartas , Travnevoe and Udarnoe .
Content
Geographical position
The urban village of Manchenki is located between the headwaters of the Mokry Merchik and Udy rivers. The villages adjacent to the village are Mishenka , Yaroshi and the village of Sanzhary .
History
1765 - date of foundation.
During the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1943, the village was under German occupation .
In 1957 - assigned the status of urban-type settlement .
In 1974, the largest enterprise in the village was the Lyubotinsky poultry farm [2] .
In January 1989, the population was1445 people [3] .
In May 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine included the Lubotinsky Poultry Farm located in the village in the list of enterprises subject to privatization during 1995 [4] .
According to the 2001 census, the population was 1192 people .
In connection with the creation of the state special transport service on the basis of the railway troops of Ukraine, in the summer of 2004 the property of the military town No. 243 of the railway troops located in the village was transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine [5] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 822 people [6] .
