Early years
N'Gemo is a native of the small Cameroonian city of Dschang , located in the west of the country. He started playing football in a local team. At age 13, he moved to Yaoundé with his family.
Club career
Nancy
Speaking for the city team of the capital of Cameroon, Landry was spotted by scouts of the French club Nancy , after which he was invited to watch, after which N'Gemo signed a reservist contract with a team from Lorraine . At this point, he was only 15 years old. At the same age, Cameroon made its debut for the first Nancy roster. This happened in a French Championship match in which the Olympic Club was opposed by Olympic Lyon . A month later, in the game with the Troyes , N'Gemo first came out in the starting lineup of Nancy.
In January 2009, after reports appeared in the French and English media about interest in the player from Arsenal , Sunderland and Everton , Landry announced his desire to leave Nancy [2] .
On January 31 of the same year, in a duel with Le Havre , N'Gemo scored his first goal for the French team - the Cameroonian struck an exact shot in the 90th minute of the meeting, and this goal was victorious for the Landry club. On May 23, the African player scored for the second time - also in the last seconds of the match he hit the goal of Marseille , but this time Nancy lost with a score of 1: 2.
Celtic
July 16, 2009 N'Gemo moved to the Scottish Celtic under a lease. The agreement between the clubs was concluded under the following conditions - the 2009/10 season Cameroonian stands for the “Celts”, after which the Glazgovites have the right to redeem Landry’s transfer. His play number, the African chose the "six" [3] [4] [5] . N'Gemo's debut for the “Celts” turned out to be successful - he was recognized as a player of the match, where his team met as part of their pre-season training with Cardiff City [6] .
In an official meeting, “Celtic” cameroon made his debut home game “white-green” with the Moscow “ Dynamo ”, which the “Celts” lost 0: 1. It was a game of the 2nd qualifying stage of the Champions League . Landry also participated in the return game in Moscow, where, having won by a score of 2: 0, the Scots went to the London Arsenal.
In the Scottish Premier League, N'Gemo made his first appearance in the club's white and green T-shirt in an away Celtic winning match against Aberdeen on August 15, 2009.
In total for the 2009/10 season, Landry played 43 matches.
In late May 2010, a Cameroonian said in an interview that he was happy with everything in Glasgow, and he would not mind staying in Scotland [7] . In the offseason, the Celts tried to redeem the rights to the player from Nancy, but the sum of 1.8 million pounds was too big for Celtic, and N'Gemo was forced to return to France [8] .
Return to Nancy
In the first match upon his return to Nancy, which was the French championship match against Nice , N'Gemo, appearing as a substitute in the 64th minute of the meeting, was removed for two yellow cards at the end of the match [9] . On March 12, 2011, having hit the gates of Cana , the Cameroonian scored his first goal for the Lorraine team after returning from Scotland [10] .
Bordeaux
At the end of the 2010/11 season, the midfielder contract with Nancy expired and he became a free agent. On July 1, 2011, Landry reached an agreement in principle with another club of the French League 1 - Bordeaux [11] . Three days after a successful medical examination, N'Gemo signed a 3-year contract with the Girondins [12] . On August 7, Landry defended the colors of Bordeaux for the first time in an official match - the Saint Etienne club was an opponent of his team that day [13] . On May 2, 2012, the Cameroonian opened the scoring for his goals for the Girondins, hitting the “nine” goal of the Rennes club with an excellent long-range strike [14] .
