Kulinichi ( Ukrainian: Kulinichі ) is a former village in the Kharkov region of the Kharkov region, now it is a place in the Nemyshlyansky district of the city of Kharkov .

Despite the fact that Kulinichi is part of Kharkov, they continue to remain the administrative center of the Kulinichyov village council, which, in addition, includes the villages of Bayrak , Blagodatnoye , Bobrovka , Brazhniki , Zaiki , Zatishye , Kutuzovka , Momotovo , Prelestnoe , Slobodskoye and the villages of Zernovoye , Elite and Peremoga .

Geographical position

Kulinichi is located on the left bank of the Nemyshlya River, the village of Brazhniki is located upstream at a distance of 1 km, the city of Kharkov adjoins downstream, and the village of Peremoga is on the opposite bank. A large dam was made on the river - Kulinichyovskiy pond . A large array of summer cottages adjoins the village.

History

The village arose at the end of the 19th century in the Kharkov district of the Kharkov province of the Russian Empire .

During the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1943, the village was under German occupation .

Since 1957 - an urban-type settlement .

In 1973, the livestock research institute and the experimental farm "Ukrainka" were operating here [2] .

In January 1989, the population was3477 people [3] , according to the 2001 census - 3101 people , as of January 1, 2013 - 3103 people [4] .

On March 5, 2013, the Kharkiv Regional Council decided to include the town of Kulinichi in the city of Kharkov.
