Biography
Born on February 24 ( March 9 ), 1910 in the city of Rostov, now in the Yaroslavl region, in a family of an employee. Russian. He lived in Moscow since 1926. He graduated from 8 classes. He worked as a locksmith. In 1933 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation College , in 1935 - from the Tambov Aviation School of the Civil Air Fleet. Captain. On the fronts of World War II from August 1941. By October 1944 he made 321 sorties, of which 289 at night. He bombed military-strategic objects in the rear of the enemy. Since the beginning of 1944, he was part of a special aviation group to assist the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia . The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on November 5, 1944.
In 1950 he graduated from the Higher Officer Flight Tactical School. Since 1956 in stock. He lived in Moscow. He worked at a research institute. He was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery .
