Elistratov, Semyon Andreevich

Semyon Andreevich Elistratov (born May 3, 1990 , Ufa , BASSR , RSFSR , USSR ) - Russian short track player , Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2013). The 2014 Olympic relay champion and bronze medalist of the 2018 Olympic Games at a distance of 1,500 meters. World Champion 2015 at a distance of 1,500 m, silver medalist of the World Short Track Championship 2013 in the relay, two-time bronze medalist of the World Championships; multiple European champion; winner of the World Cup at a distance of 1000 meters. In the Russian team since 2007 . Represents the Republic of Bashkortostan, School № 1 of the Oktyabrsky District of Ufa.

Member of the Russian Olympic team at the 2010 Winter Olympics .

In March 2016, it became known that in the doping test of the athlete, the WADA -forbidden drug meldonium was found [2] . On April 21, 2016, the ISU lifted the suspension from the athlete. [3]
