Arzamos Uyezd is one of the provinces of the Russian Empire. The center is the city of Arzamas .

Arzamas province was formed as part of the Nizhny Novgorod province by decree of Peter I "On the device of the provinces and the determination of the new rulers" in 1719 . The province included the city of Arzamas with surrounding land. According to a revision of 1710, there were 13.9 thousand peasant and 1.5 thousand yasak yards in the province [1] .
In November 1775, the division of provinces into provinces was canceled [2] .
