Career

Club

He started playing football seriously in 1988 at the Sokol club school from Brzezno, from 1995 to 1997 he continued his studies at the Dioss club school from Chomutov . Then from 1997 to 2000 he played for the youth and youth teams of the Teplice club, in which he eventually began his professional career in 2001.

He was officially declared a member of the Teplice club for the 2001/02 season , but he didn’t enter the field then, and spent the second half of the season on loan at the Chomutov Second League club, where Ian made his professional debut, playing 13 matches and scoring 4 goals. The next season he made his debut as part of the Teplice club, having held 23 meetings, scoring 2 goals and becoming, together with the team, the Czech Cup holder. The season 2003/04 was the last for Rezek in Teplice, in the first round he played 13 matches, scored 1 goal and made his debut in the UEFA Cup , in the first round of which Teplice knocked out of the Kaiserslautern tournament, and in the second Feyenoord , Jan scored a goal against both clubs [2] , after which, in the winter break, he joined the ranks of one of the strongest Czech clubs in Prague “ Sparta ”, with which he signed a contract for 3.5 years [3] . As part of Sparta, he finished the season, having played 10 matches, scoring 1 goal, becoming a team winner in the Czech Cup for the second time in his career and for the first time the country's vice-champion . In the 2004/05 season, he played 7 matches, which is why for the first time in his career he became, along with the team, the Czech champion, in addition, played in the Champions League matches against Ferencvaros [2] and Fenerbahce [4] .

In the summer of 2005 he moved to Kuban , with which he signed a contract for 2.5 years on August 11 [5] , the team was officially announced on August 15 [6] . He made his debut for “Kuban” in an away match against “ Anji ” [2] , and in all that season he played 13 matches. During the off-season he trained as part of the Kuban [7] , but as a result he did not fit the coaching staff, and was not even included in the application for the next season [8] , after which he returned to his homeland.

From July to September 2006, he played with Victoria from Pilsen , spent 6 matches, scored 2 goals, and then, on loan, returned to Sparta, where he finished the season , having spent 19 meetings, scoring 2 goals, for the second time in his career becoming the champion of the Czech Republic and the third time winner of the Cup of the country. At the end of the season, he signed a full-fledged contract with Sparta.

The next season he spent 11 matches and scored 1 goal, thanks to which he became again, along with the team, the vice-champion of the country. From February to July 2008 he acted on loan as a member of the Bohemians 1905 club, played 10 meetings in which he scored 2 goals, and then returned to Sparta, where he no longer found a place in the main team, as a result of which Rezek left the Prague club.

He spent the 2008/09 season as part of Victoria, which he returned at the end of his relationship with Sparta, spent 20 matches in that draw and scored 3 goals against opponents. In the club from Pilsen began the next season , having spent 8 matches in the 1st round of the championship.

Before the start of the 2014/15 season, he returned to Cyprus , signing a contract with Apollo . [9]

In the summer of 2015, he signed a contract with the Pribram club from the city of the same name [10] .

In 2003, he played in the Czech youth team , played 2 matches: April 29 against the Turkish national team and November 15 against the Swiss national team in Basel .

From 2010 to 2012, he played for the main national team , having spent 21 matches and scoring 4 goals.
