Biography
He graduated from the 1st Moscow Military Gymnasium , the 3rd Military Alexander School (1880) and the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff (1890) in I category. Senior Adjutant to the Headquarters of the 34th Infantry Division (11.26.1890-17.04.1894). The censored command of the company was serving in the 133rd Infantry Regiment of Simferopol (05.10.1892-17.10.1893). Member of the Russian-Japanese war. For military operations in which it was marked with the Golden Weapon with the inscription "For courage". Commander of the 59th Lublin Infantry Regiment (07.03.-31.03.1904). Commander of the 121st Penza Infantry Regiment (03.31.1904-09.03.1905). Major General (1905; for military distinctions). Commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 22nd Infantry Division (09.03.-14.06.1905). In the battles he was wounded. Chief of Staff of the 10th Army Corps (06/14/21/09/1905).
District Quartermaster General of the Headquarters of the Turkestan Military District (09.21.1905-19.05.1907). Permanent member and managing director of the Main Serf Committee (05.19.1907-16.06.1910).
Chief of Staff of the 25th Army Corps (06.16.1910-21.04.1911). Lieutenant General (1911; for distinction). Chief of Staff of the Irkutsk Military District (04.21.1911-05.03.1914). Head of the 1st Siberian Rifle Division (03/05/11/08/1914). In the 11/08/06/10/1914 he served as chief of staff of the 10th Army . According to the results of the fighting in the Augustow forests he was deposed, despite the general success of the army. Head of the 22nd Infantry Division (10/06/1914 - 11/12/1914). He participated in the battles near Warsaw, the advance to the border of Silesia, the Lodz Operation , where the 22nd Infantry Division occupied the far right most threatened flank of the 2nd Army . He was wounded in a battle near the village of Felixen near Lodz on 09/09/1914. He was expelled by injuries to the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Dvinsky Military District (from 11/11/1914; remained in reserve on 01/01/1916 and 01/03/1917). He was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir, 2nd art. with swords (VP 26.02.1915). By the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the North-Western Front and the Highest Order on May 21, 1915 he was awarded the Order of St. George of the 4th degree “For the fact that in the battle on November 9th, 1914, he skillfully managed the defense of his position, occupying the flank area, at Lodz significant influence not only on maintaining the position of his corps, but also on the whole army; moreover, when some parts of his division, attacked by superior enemy forces, were confused, galloped into the advanced attacked trenches and put order among them by personal intervention, moreover, he was seriously wounded at the trenches ”.
On 07/10/1916 in the same rank and position. He was promoted to general rank from infantry with dismissal from service due to illness (09.09.1917).
