4-Fluoro-amphetamine (4-FA; “Flux”; para-fluoro-amphetamine; Flux), also known as 4-fluorophenylaminopropane, is a psychoactive substance . It is an agonist of both dopamine and serotonin receptors. It has a stimulating effect, similar to amphetamine and relaxing, similar to 4-methylamphetamine , with psychedelic effects and more pronounced euphoria. 4-fluoro-amphetamine is relatively rare in the illegal market, since a 4-substituted precursor is required in production (for amphetamine it’s usually unsubstituted, it is much cheaper), and its synthesis reaction yields are lower than for classical amphetamine.
